To promote the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and horses, we encourage you to book your horseback riding adventure in the morning.

As temperatures can reach 28°C by early afternoon, we often need to cancel rides scheduled for later in the day. Morning rides offer cooler, more comfortable conditions, allowing you to fully enjoy the stunning beauty of Jasper without the risk of heat-related issues to you or your horse.

Welcome to Jasper Stables, with two convenient locations just minutes from the townsite of Jasper, Alberta!

Join us for a true western horseback riding adventure in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. Open from May to October, our stables offer half-hour, one, two, and three-hour rides that highlight Jasper’s stunning panoramic mountain views, turquoise lakes, winding rivers, and diverse wildlife. Our knowledgeable guides will enrich your journey with fascinating insights about the area, its history, and its wildlife, ensuring a memorable experience for riders of all levels.

ABOUT US

A Few Things About Our Rides

All riders must sign a release of liability.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Helmets are available for use at no additional cost and are strongly advised (mandatory for riders under 18 yrs old)

Rates are subject to 5% GST and 3% Destination Marketing Fee

What to Bring on Your Ride

For your safety, we ask that you please do not take back packs, cross body bags, or large cameras on your rides.

We provide saddle bags for anything you would like to take on the trail.

Weight Restrictions

We try to accommodate everyone. We have some larger horses and saddles and a very good mounting step system. However we do have some restrictions on weight. Please contact us for information at (780) 852-7433.

Policies

We request cancellations be advised 24 hours in advance.

We are committed to the cowboy lifestyle and will ride come rain or shine.

We protect our wilderness areas so that future generations can enjoy them. We leave only footprints and take only memories.
