Our age limit for our 1 hour trail ride is 6 years old, and our 2 hour age limit is 8 years old, no younger! All minors under 18 years old participating in a horse activity must have a parent or legal guardian accompanying them on the trail ride.

Our weight limit is 240 lbs per rider. However we have horses that can cater to a wide range of riders. Please provide the weight and height of each rider when signing up on our website, so we can match each rider with the perfect horse.

Yes, each rider will have their own individual waiver, all minors under 18 years old participating must have a parent or legal guardian sign for them. Digital waivers are provided when you sign up on our website or paper waivers upon arrival. One waiver is to be filled out per person.

Yes, each ride will have a guide leading in front and possibly one in the back when necessary. They are there to ensure safety for the horses and guests, as well as share wonderful facts and point out specific views. Feel free to ask questions along the way.

At Jasper Stables, we would love to have everyone experience our trail rides! Customer safety and horse welfare are our top priorities and as such there are some circumstances where we may be unable to take guests on our trail rides. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to discuss these with you.

No, for safety we only allow one person per horse.

Yes, reservations are recommended for all trail rides. You can either book online or give us a call.

All our rides travel at a walk and in single file. This is to ensure everyone’s safety on these shared trails.

Guests should arrive at the location 30 minutes before the ride is scheduled to depart.

Closed-toed shoes and long pants are best for riding. Mosquito repellent is recommended.

Backpacks and large cameras are NOT permitted. For safety reasons, we want nothing strapped around the rider’s body. We will provide saddle bags that you can use to hold any small belongings (water bottles, wallet, keys, etc).

Yes, helmets are provided. We require everyone under 18 years old to wear a helmet. For others the decision is yours but strongly encouraged.

We use western tack and western trained horses.

No experience necessary. Our guides will provide riding instruction before departure.

We have restrooms at the stable. We strongly recommend using the restroom beforehand, as there are no restrooms along the trail.

Yes, on the trails there’s a high chance to see wildlife but no guarantee.

Horseback rides run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. Please do not wear a rain poncho, as they can flap in the wind and spook the horses.

For a refund, guests need to cancel 24 hours in advance. Cancellations due to weather deemed unsafe by Jasper Stables to ride in will have the ride refunded.
